Thank-you letters simplified
If you have recieved gifts from friends/relatives last holiday season, and your parents are like mine, you will probably be forced to write some sort of letter back telling them thank you I appreciate it blah blah blah... kind of tedious huh? Well, your problems will be simplified if instead of having to write a different letter for each person, you can just print out a generic letter to send to everyone. Read on for a simple 3-step process:
Directions for thank-you letter
1. Copy the following text into the word processor of your choice:
Dear Valued Friend and/or Relative:
You have been selected to recieve a personal letter of thanks from [your name goes here]. This is regarding any physical and/or monetary gifts that you have given us over the Holiday Season. We express our deepest appreciation for your generous effort(s). Rest assured, the product of your generosity will remain unopened and be efficiently used as a gift to others during the next Holiday Season. If you have neglected to give [your name goes here] any physical and/or monetary gifts, kindly disregard this letter.
Many Thanks,
[your name goes here]
2. Insert your name in the [your name goes here] brackets
3. Print off as many copies as you need and send!
Hint: to reduce future holiday costs to almost nil, follow the letter's advice and re-gift old gifts. You know you'll never use them anyways, so just save yourself some trouble.
